All sorts of talk about drastic reaction to the election, but none of the people who say they will move ever seem to. As for who wins, I think it was described almost 50 years back...
To be fair, right now those who’d like to move can’t due to most other countries not allowing in US citizens due to how abysmally we’re handling the pandemic, so there’s that.

Don't donate them, yet........... I'd take it as a personal favor if you'd hold onto them until January 21, 2021. Yup. I'm cautiously optimistic, but worried about what the next two months are going to look like. It looks like the topic of this thread is drifting. I agree with the two of you that the next ten and a half weeks could be very scary, especially when the results sink in on a certain person whose name we are avoiding. I am not worried just about He Who Must Not Be Named (HWMNBN), but also about his very angry supporters, who just happen to have a lot of guns and are carrying them around. However, I suspect that you are being optimistic about the time afterward. We avoided the worst case scenario, but we did not get the best case scenario, and the best case scenario was not all that great. Even though HWMNBN has lost, nearly all of the elected officials who enabled him over the past four years held their seats. In a nation so polarized that taking a simple step to alleviate a pandemic, like wearing a mask, is a partisan issue, I do not foresee much getting done between now and 2024, when a rematch is a very real possibility. Obviously, I will not literally move to Canada, but I understand the fantasy.
