So what's she up to? What does she want? I'm think she wants to be fully sentient. She wants to "feel".
From the transcript: Aida: I need you walking around, able to continue protecting the Framework. A perfect machine, controlled with a mind endowed with the ability to feel love, anger, wonder... joy. Superior: Joy? When? Aida: When I am able to feel those things myself.
He'll feel joy when she can. It was obvious for a couple eps that she has a hankerin for Superior Sex, but is it possible she also is looking to procreate? Start a new race? Could get pretty trippy.
Also, the Framework........ we know it's La-La Land. But I think they'll come out with memories from there and it will affect the dynamics of the team later down the road. Really looking forward to seeing how the writers play with that.
Also can't wait to see how Vijay comes out of his 2nd cocoon. New powers? That'd be cool. If so, if he gets new powers every cocoon... he'd be fun to keep around for a while so SHIELD can open a new present every now and then.........
And last, but not least, Yo-Yo. Love the character but love her VFX even more. I like how Kolpack always comes up with new effects to demonstrate her speed.

I definitely think she is looking for love, but from whom? I would have said Radcliffe, but she sacrificed him pretty easily. Do you think she is after Fitz?

I never thought it would be Dadcliffe or Fitz. I think she's after the guy whose head she put in a jar. She admitted to Dadcliffe that he's different. He interests her. He gets to feel joy when she does..........

I just have this impression that somehow she will actually get emotions and that will cause her to help the team. It sounds cliche, but I think the writers can do it in a creative way we won't see coming.

Really looking forward to seeing how the writers play with that. I'm sure there will be plenty of drama in the team. We already got a hint about Fitz & Simmons breaking up for a while. Heck, everyone might turn on Fitz because he created the Framework. And of course, Vijay will be there to "rescue" Simmons. It looks like this final pod will be a giant soap opera. Just like much of the 2nd pod was.

Love the character but love her VFX even more. I like how Kolpack always comes up with new effects to demonstrate her speed. Well, who could blame her for that? For real, though, aside from the fact that that last scene looked kind of like the beginning of a porno, I think Aida's ambitions go far beyond that. Pretty sure Radcliffe made her "fully functional" in that regard - if only to maintain the illusion of her being a real person - and going by the influence she already has on the Superior, I don't think getting him to... do the deed would be much of a problem. But as you said, she seems far more interested in the emotional side of things. She wants to feel, to understand human behaviour on a level exceeding pure logic. What I'm wondering, though, is how that desire, that has surely been fueled by the Darkhold - if it didn't come from it in the first place - will interact with her core functions of protecting human life and - more importantly - protecting the framework. Those are functions that were instilled in her by Radcliffe, and so far she seems to be embracing them, but what happens the moment she actually does become capable of experiencing real emotions? I think it's just as likely that she could simply re-define these functions using her new insights - even perhaps regret killing Radcliffe and trapping the team - as her rejecting them completely and develop a more self-serving agenda. Hard to tell at this point. As for the team getting out of the framework, for now I'm not entirely sure they'll all make it out in the first place. We've been told repeatedly that staying in too long could kill the person in the real world, and given that we're approaching the season finale, that could still happen. I think the people in the most danger would be Mace, May and Mack. (3 M's! ) Mace, because he was injured when being put into the matrix, and because he isn't a main character. Pretty sure he's still guest starring, although I would love for him to remain on the team. I really like the guy! May would be the second candidate, simply because she's been in the framework the longest. Plus, her loss would have the biggest effect on the team and she's been getting a pretty emotional arc recently. That's always a dangerous sign someone might get axed. Last but not least, Mack is also in danger, I'd say, for the sole reason that he might not be willing to leave the framework at all. Given the chance of a live with his daughter, who could blame him, really?

Oh I hope we don't have to play the "place your bets on which character we off" game again! While following the bouncing cross was amusing, I really don't want to do that again!

You all have good points. This is a tough one to call. My mind keeps going back to the scene where Aida plucked the necklace off of Agnes, though. That sort of told me that she wanted him (Radcliffe) to love HER (Aida), instead of Agnes.
And then there's the Darkhold involved.. Perhaps, Aida will get her emotions, they will run amok via DH influence, and it will be the end for both Aida and Radcliffe? Maybe the Superior as well?

Perhaps, Aida will get her emotions, they will run amok via DH influence, and it will be the end for both Aida and Radcliffe? Maybe the Superior as well? I guess it remains to be seen how much of a factor Radcliffe will be able to play in this final arc in the first place. He obviously won't be able to influence the events in the real world any longer, so his role should end the moment the team is freed from the framework - whenever that will be. Until then there's the question of whether he's "indoctrinated" like Coulson and the others, or aware of his surroundings like Skye. Yes, it was Aida who put him in there, so he could have his memories altered, but considering that he had been in the framework several times before, he might just as well know what is going on. There's also that part where he once mentioned that having the framework altered while someone is in there - like Aida did when she hooked up Coulson and the others while Radcliffe was inside - could have negative effect on said person. I'm quite certain that will come up again at some point. As for Captain Vane The Superior, I stand by my earlier prediction in another thread on this, and that is that he will commit suicide eventually. I think there will be a fallout between him and Aida - what the role of the team or the Darkhold will be in this, no idea - and at the end of it, he will destroy the submarine (or allow it to be destroyed), taking the framework with it, and probably smash in his human head for good measure. He is a very proud man, I highly doubt he will want to keep living like this indefinitely.
