Comic book adaption about a group of people with special powers (and one without), who were all mysteriously born in the same moment and who ended up being raised in the titular Umbrella Academy by an eccentric billionaire. Now all grown up (for the most part), the unlikely siblings, who have drifted apart over the years, must overcome their differences to stop the looming apocalypse.
The show is a character-driven adventure full of over-the-top visuals, with the best soundtrack this side of GotG, that had me laughing in delight and gasping in shock repeatedly throughout the season. The first ten episodes (which I binged within two nights!) are out on Netflix, season two will be released at the end of July.

Mary J. Blige
And special mention to Aidan Gallagher, because that 14-15 year old kid stole half the show and we're all probably gonna see a lot more of him in the years to come.
