I have a folder on my PC, created in March 2019, titled "An Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. noir story", with, well, some basic outlines for an AU fanfic where the team is in a classic noir 30s/40s setting. I think at this point the writers have actually hacked my PC and aren't just stealing from my published stories anymore!

Now that we had a noir episode, were there any more similarities with your outline? At least it is just the show stealing from your stories. I have a four-year-old outline in which everyone had cabin fever because they were confined inside and allowed out only for essential business. Real life hacked into my stories.

Well, now we know who to blame for this whole mess...

As far as my story goes, not really that many similarities aside from the usual staples of the genre. I think Coulson wearing a fedora is basically the only thing that would be an actual match. But let's be honest, that is just a too perfect visual not to come up eventually!
