Hi everyone and welcome! Thanks for joining our fun little gang of exiles, which is rapidly growing into a medium-sized gang! Thought I would make your way around here a bit easier, if you migrated from 'that other place'... The format is a bit different than it was there. One of the most useful hints was shared by DoTheMath, (I think he is the First Officer of the group) when he told us that you can tag a fellow member, when you post, by placing an "@username" [no quotation marks] in your comment. This makes it lots easier to let someone know you mentioned/replied to them. By the way, when someone does that, it shows up as a hint in your top menu also, under the 'Profile' tab. Speaking of the top menu, check out the 'Help' tab. There are actually LOTS of useful tips there, it is one of the better help menus I have seen. Have fun, and enjoy your new home! And god forbid, don't be mean or ugly! Jemma Simmons has a really big hammer. Captain America can't even pick it up. We good-naturedly rib each other occasionally here, but all in the spirit of fun! HA, ayanami you are posting Fillion? !!! Which reminds me, I came up with the PERFECT solution for our quandary concerning the future[hopefully] Uncharted movie! Ward (Brett Dalton) as Nathan Drake, Cap'n Mal(Nathan Fillion) as his best bud and older sidekick, Sully Patterson from Blindspot (Ashley Johnson) as Elena Hunter (Nick Blood) as Flynn. Aida (Mallory Johnson) as Chloe. And oh please, please let this be written/directed by Joss Whedon! |

To link posts: www.proboards.com/user-guide e/post-options/linking-directly This is not an auto feature. Some effort is required. Once you've followed their basic directions, then do this: Highlight the address you want to use (bottom one), copy - paste to new thread/post, highlight and hit the make a link button. Now if someone clicks on the link it will take them to that post (and only that post). The top address in the previously mentioned options is for, I believe, the entire thread. |
