As it's December 1st and also the first Advent, Christmas season has officially begun! Wohoo! (Looking at you, retail industry, selling Christmas candy in August or September.

Also, is an Advent wreath with four candles or an Advent calender even a thing in the US? Couldn't imagine the season without them.

There's an Advent wreath with the candles at the church and I usually get my mom an Advent calendar but don't keep one myself.

I put the tree up today and actually started putting the lights outside the house a couple weeks ago but didn't turn them on until this weekend.

Yeah, you can find Advent wreaths in the US. I also think they’re pretty. You probably aren’t going to find them in your average family’s home, but you’ll definitely see them in churches.
