Yes, RDJ was amazing as Iron Man and without his character's success, the whole MCU might have been a misfire from the start. But I honestly just want them to move past him already! (Which might be the one good thing coming out of Spidey going solo from now on.)

But I honestly just want them to move past him already! (Which might be the one good thing coming out of Spidey going solo from now on.) That's the "one thing" I didn't like about Far from Home. The glasses may have been EDITH (which, although funny, was still too much Tony) but the movie was E.D.I.T.H.S. Even Dead I Totally Hog Screentime

It doesn't sound like he's going to be the focus of the series. My guess is he appears to start the series, then just becomes a voiceover.
You can hardly blame them for trying to tie-in the MCU's most popular character into the show...

I really don't care for the name RiRi, to be honest. And if any female should take Tony's place right now, it should be Shuri, IMHO. Shuri is awesome. Sadly now with Spidey not being in the MCU, we will never get that scene of Peter and Shuri working together.
