With only two days left until the next ep, I thought I'd post this now. I had to (lol) rewrite part of my summary yesterday because I was putting in a bunch of spoilers...
Same disclaimers. Previews are misleading, doesn't necessarily have to be in the next show, etc. etc. etc.
That said, first half of the preview:
May: How can those Shrike creatures destroy a planet?
Sarge: If there's enough of them, they will.
Mack: Agents May and Johnson will be going with you.
Sarge: Are we all going to get along?
Mack: There's a part of the plan Sarge hasn't revealed.
Sarge: Earth is about to be destoryed.
Sarge: All you care about is about to die.
Okay, obviously Team Mad Max and SHIELD are going to work together. I don't think any of us had any doubt about that. Will things accelerate to the point that they're battling the Shrike like that in 6.8? With 6 eps to go? Seems... too early, or the crystal structures they're building is the precursor to something worse...
It was the second half, or at least the middle portion.
From Ep 6.7:
Izel: Valuable artifacts stolen from me. And I know what planet they're on.
From the preview:
Simmons: Tell us about the items you're searching for.
Izel: They can move beings through space and time and...
Fitz: Monoliths.
When I wrote:
So what are the odds Izel would show up on a backwater planet like Kitson, and find Fitz and Simmons, who have intimate details about the monoliths?
Yes, they're different, but it's not that much of a stretch that they're similar creations...
Were the Monoliths stolen from Izel, or is she just trying to hunt them down for nefarious purposes? If she can control the stones, that might make her a God. (Let's keep in mind Thor is a God in the MCU.)
Seems like this entire season may be turning into the unraveling of the Monolith mystery...

It is the Drombeg Stone Circle in Ireland. When I first saw it, my reaction was... Monoliths.
Considering the involvement of Ley Lines, and other concentrations of mystical power, once must go Hmmm....
