It’s really hard to choose, but I think I do have to agree. It was definitely a wild ride!

Well, I've said a few times that S4 is where I thought AoS surpassed the MCU in terms of storytelling. It didn't have the spectacle of the movies, but S4 was solid in it's 3-arc storyline. I'm glad others agree.

It is hard to compare a season of a television show with a film. Films, with larger budgets and longer production times, can do spectacle better than television shows can. Television shows, with more screen time doled over the years, can develop characters better than films can. I would say that the best of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (e.g., "4,722 Hours," "Self Control," and, now, "Inescapable") compare favorably to the MCU films. If I had to pick a particular period of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. that marks the show's peak, it would be the final nine episodes of the fourth season.
Beyond that, I do not agree much with the order of the films in that chart, and, if I got to isolate the best sections of season rather than take them as a whole, I would put the first ten episodes of the third season and the last third of the first season above the fifth season of the show.

I'm not sure you can trust a poll that is A:from a few hundred Reddit users and B:actually has a vote count of 616 for SHIELD season 4
