I'm currently watching episode 2, and laughed right out loud at Trish trying on different hero costume ideas! Well, the anime mask quite something, wasn't it? Yeah, that scene was really funny. The last one I thought for a second was an homage to Silk Specter from Watchmen, but I guess it was probably rather what Trish wore in the comics at one point. All in all I was pretty impressed with the episode. A rather slow one, but a great character study on Trish and really shone a whole new light on the character. Great job, Krysten Ritter, directing this ep!

Yes that's pretty much the classic Hellcat costume from the comics. The "homage to the comics look" is almost becoming a trope in movies/shows these days, but I enjoyed that one.

Lol, that explains Dorothy wanting her to go with something "cat-themed"! Yeah they did a Hellcat name drop in season 1 if I recall. Someone (Killgrave?) called her "that bloody hell cat" or something. Even her current costume (I'm only on episode 4) has the yellow and blue theme.

Just finished it. Poor Jessica. I wonder if the contract with Netflix mandated 13 episodes, no less. I think I could have done with about 10 episodes and a bit less of the sub-plots. Would have been tidier IMO. Though I enjoyed it well enough. Better than season 2 for sure. In case anyone isn't quite done yet I'll tag this but I was sort of hoping that at the end when Jessica finally confronts Trish that suddenly one of them would get snapped away. Either Jessica and that would leave Trish to sort of take up Jessica's role instead of being the female Punisher or Trish would get dusted leaving Jessica without her sister and without having made the hard choice either. Or maybe Jeri gets dusted and then 5 years later when she comes back she promptly dies anyway from her illness. I know that's cruel but Jeri was more horrible than usual this season. While I'm tagged, I also was expecting that Jeri would be the one behind the one holdout - i.e. that she'd make Kith think they were going to lose then at the last minute simply tell (forget his name) to give in so that Jeri could look like the hero.

I've gotten good and either binging or averting my eyes if i need to pull up an episode to avoid spoilers in the picture or recap, but they got me during the opening credits of the last episode. Why would Mike Colter be credited?? Why not credit him post-episode or even on screen during his cameo??
