Even 15 years after its untimely execution, before the first season even played out, it continues to be one of the most talked about and beloved shows ever made.
There is a very good reason for this. IT WAS. Never anywhere have I seen better natural chemistry between all nine regulars on a show. The love shines through, and I so wish I was in their gang of real-life friends. I could talk about this show for hours, I nearly have the entire dialogue memorized, for all 14 episodes. Plus, the movie.
And by hours, I mean days. ALA Capt'n Kirk, in The Wrath of Kahn. (in reverse, though)

A Firefly would be good, but it should go in the TV folder. This folder is where a Serenity thread would go.

Maybe Jemma Simmons could move the thread to the other board. Personally, I think it would be enough to have the one Firefly thread in the TV section for both the show and the movie, given how closely the story is connected, but I guess others might disagree.

I wholeheartedly agree....... I agree 100% also, it belongs in the TV show thread, including any discussion of the wrap-up movie, 'Serenity'. That being said, there were two reasons I posted it here. 1) We had a discussion a few weeks ago, about past vs. current TV shows, and I kind of thought the TV forum was for current stuff. 2) If you go to the home page here, the board "General Movie Discussions" has a subtitle, 'A place to discuss other movie and TV shows'. Since this show ambiguously fits in the category of both, being a 'tv show and a movie', I chose to place it here. Jemma Simmons: Pretty please, with sugar and honey, could you move this to the TV board, and even prettier please, with a glass of iced tea, make it a sub-board? I have a feeling it will generate enough traffic to warrant it. Also, refer to 2) above. Perhaps, adjust the sub-title, so as not to be mis-leading? Peace and love to all

It had that title originally, but then TV and Movies were split into separate entities. It still reads that way on my end. That's my point about adjusting the subtitle. But gosh, I hate to make work for Jemma Simmons ..she is doing such a FINE job of keeping house here, and not having to give anyone a 'cognitive re-calibration'. I certainly do not want to be the one to make her feel, 'target Angry! target Angry!'

What was your favorite episode?

OH, you used the dreaded 'F' word! those panty-waste idgits!!!!! "Hey here's an idea... lets skip the intro pilot show, run some of the rest of them out of order, and see if anyone likes it" But that along with most other topics have already been beat into the ground, so, moving along,,, I have to answer your question in reverse. The only episode that was not my favorite was 'The Message'. Although, even it touches my heart. If you have followed the back story, there is one scene that will bring tears to your eyes. When the crew is standing around the coffin, and listening to the recording for the first time, they had just been informed about 15 minutes before the shooting of the scene, that the show was cancelled. Go back and look at the emotion on all their faces. No acting needed, that was true sadness they were expressing.

What was your favorite episode? In 2013 they killed another show I really liked, after about the same number of episodes. RIP Almost Human. You deserved a more (Almost) Humane treatment.......

That's why I didn't even start watching Almost Human. I knew the network would screw it up.
