Binged the whole first season today and here are the MCU connections and shout-outs I caught: Episode 8: - As haxemon already mentioned, O'Reilly talking about her friend from New York, Misty. And that, what with her being from NY, strange abilities aren't anything new to her. - The cello piece that's playing during the "memory" sequence at the end is Bach - Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major BWV1007 - Mov. 1-3/6, repeatedly used in Daredevil S1 as Wilson Fisk's theme Episode 9: - The guy Tandy almost hooks up with has a Stan Lee painting on his wall. Episode 12: - Scarborough's whole final conversation with Tandy is basically a giant MCU shout-out. Not only does he tell Tandy that there is power underneath New Orleans - and with great power comes even more power (Oh, no, you didn't!) - but he also explains Roxxon's search for it with the need to keep up with the Joneses (Jessica?), as well as the Starks and the Rands. And, finally, he admits that the core of the Roxxon valve system is located in their annex building 616. That's gotta be a new record as far as MCU easter eggs are concerned! It's kind of interesting, I guess, that all the connections the show had to the overall MCU happened so late in the season. I suppose they wanted to stand firmly on their own feet first, before positioning themselves among the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Feel free to add anything I missed!

I wonder if part of it was that they simple didn't have a full green light to drop MCU nods until they were done writing the first part of the series?
Great thread!
