Call me suspicious, but for MONTHS, we've heard nothing about S6, but a month before Captain Marvel comes out, things are starting to leak.
Not holding my breath, but I'm still hoping for some sort of crossover here. The not-Phil coming out of Captain Marvel would be mind bending.
(We obviously need a Tom Holland on the cast of AoS that can spill his guts out...)

How about: At the end of Captain Marvel it's revealed that Phil got replaced by a Skrull, so the character we all know has been an imposter all along, while the real Phil Coulson has spent the last two decades in a Skrull prison. Now I bet that would be a story line everyone would love, right?!

It's possible he's a clone, you never know where Phil left some DNA, and who would have taken it. Or an LMD, because I doubt we've seen the last of them. I'm coming to the conclusion not-Phil is an alien, not having heard of SHIELD. A doppelganger of sorts, perhaps.
Oh, and I'm still not giving up on Deke reviving the Framework. If he was able to do it in the future in the Lighthouse, then the equipment he needs is already there when the Lighthouse was prepared last season.
Speaking of Deke, it'd be nice to see a web montage of him checking out the outside...

"There’s a big mystery here," he added. "And I think that this person is as surprised as they are, that they seem to recognize his face... I probably wasn’t supposed to say that."
So, Clark is now officially the new Hagrid.
