My favourite characters were Buffy, Spike and Willow, but basically everyone was fantastic! The only people I didn't like were Riley (ugh, I really could have done without that guy!) and Xander on occasion. Sure, he was a fun guy most of the time, but he could be a real a-hole as well.

Favourite season was the second. That one simply had everything!

I really liked Spike in the earlier seasons and mostly in S4. But then he became too important for my taste and I disliked his whole arcline to become a good person, especially the soul thing. If he had become good as a vampire without a soul it would have been way more interesting. Now the arcline had a really ugly moment to force this and he also became an Angel clone. Still, like him more than Angel though. That brooding I always found boring.

It's weird. I kind of see Xander as Fitz (you probably Mack), but the similarity between Fitz/Ward and Xander/Spike always stood out to me. I really liked the Xander/Spike rivalry scenes. I hoped to see some of it with Fitz/Ward.
