I actually think Coulson being a Skrull is too easy.

I think he will have been brought back by an organization (possibly the govt) that makes him their own asset.

So, basically, I'm saying that I believe he will be a villain, if not, THE VILLAIN.

That is, if this is the *same* Coulson. I can also seem him being a Coulson clone, evil Twin, or even transporter double

Honestly, I had doubted he would be back but then the cast's social media radio silence, and the complete act of not mentioning Clark *at all* reversed my position.

And it was Clark himself who has been dancing around the subject like his wife in that movie, all the while not working on *any* other movie, TV, or stage projects that were pretty convincing.

Well, well, this looks interesting! About time they threw us a bone! Didn't realize how much I have missed Daisy kicking some a$$. And it appears they have pumped some funds back into the FX as well...more than the cheap Inhumans makeup and set designs that were a large part of s5.

That would definitely make for some interesting story telling. And I'm sure that the writers are not above emotionally torturing the fans like that.

Reminds me of when they turned Rip Hunter into the (temporary) villain on Legends of Tomorrow. That was an emotionally brutal storyline, at least by the show's rather lighthearted standards. I'm sure the AoS writers would make it even more so!
