Funny you mentioned Bill Paxton. Anthony Michael Hall played Bill's younger brother's bestfriend in the legendary sci-fi teen comedy, Weird Science.

Also I must say, I've followed Anthony from the 1980s to The Dark Knight in 2008 and it will be a pleasure to see him in AoS.

Somewhat more recent, he might be recognized as the big bad at the end of season 3, extending into the start of season 4, on Warehouse 13. Some of his episodes even have Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway) in them.
