I seriously doubt it because everyone wants that sweet, sweet revenue. However, Deadpool did well, so.... linkety link

Interesting... Now prepare yourself for all those stupid parents taking their kids into the movie, because "it's about super heroes"!

Interesting... Now prepare yourself for all those stupid parents taking their kids into the movie, because "it's about super heroes"! Yep, just like all those stupid parents who took their kids to the South Park movie back in the day because it was a cartoon. I'm difficult to shock, and within the first 10 minutes of that I think my jaw was on the floor at what they were saying! (I still thought it was hilarious, and very witty! I mean their entire point was that in America, gratuitous sex and violence is fine as long as there are no naughty words!)

They were checking everyone's ID. I was well over seventeen. I went to R rated horror movies as young as tweleve and all through my teens and never once was carded lol.

Why would you deny kids a character that's been available to them since the third movie in the MCU? If the MCU does anything 'R' rated (and I'd be surprised if they do, I would think they'd set something up in the X-Men universe for that, just like Deadpool), it'd be for a new character. Not a well established, liked and known character.
Second, merchandising. A lot of criticism arises when toys that are directed toward kids are from an 'R' rated movie, and if Disney is known for anything, it's merchandising. An 'R' rated Black Widow may stain not only Black Widow, but Hawkeye and others.
I have reservations about a BW movie. Every movie so far in the MCU (well, pretty much) has been to further a secondary narrative, whether that was Ultron or Thanos. I hope they're not going to do a BW movie just to fill in her background, without pushing toward their next nexus after A4. That larger threat and the pieces that form it from the individual movies is really what ties the MCU together for me.
That said, I'm still giving Feige the benefit of the doubt. He's done a pretty good job so far. They do need to tackle the problem of an MCU and an MTU. It would be interesting if Captain Marvel is the start of that...

I need say no more. Made by the same sick and twisted minds. (Not that there's anything wrong with sick and twisted, mind you...)
It's a must watch, unless you're easily offended, don't like stereotypical action movies or the wholesale destruction of puppets...
