One of the first things that popped into my head yesterday when I saw this was, "Guest House". Anyone else?

I really hope they'll have Coulson drop a line about the potential applications for Kree blood, or something like that. Remind me, did we see the dead Kree in the Agent Carter flashback in S2? If not, it could be cool to have the events of Captain Marvel lead to SHIELD getting their hands on the body in the first place.

I agree! Most of you already know that I love AoS, yet not as much into most of the other shows/movies as you all are. I have to say, this looks really, really good! And I have to wonder, with Captain Marvel and A4 coming out this spring, and then AoS6, and THEN, with the super early announcement of AoS7 (yippie!), that maybe finally the nay-sayers will get the long awaited tie in between it all. We could be in for an epic run of Marvel marvels! Personally, I think the tie-ins have already been as strong as can be expected, I never have understood the arguments against it.
So sad that Stan Lee won't be around to see it all. I'm still torn up over that.

Yes, there was a shot of a lid closing(?) with something blue inside (I can't remember if it was identifiable a a body, though). I'll check and get back with you........ EDIT: You can tell it's a blue arm.......

I want to know when the hell the Kree became warrior-heroes? Warriors, yes; heroes, not so much.

Captain Marvel is set in the 1990's and would supply SHIELD with a fresh body. At least I assume a Kree body from the late 40's (if it was a Kree) wouldn't have survived in a good enough shape for the Guest House... Wouldn't her conversations with Fury (and possibly Coulson) give him exactly the idea for something like Guest House? The timeline seems to fit, since by 2008 Fury is discussing the Avengers Initiative with Stark.
