Still, need to see. Was sold out at the times that I could but lacking the time after that. Really good see that it is such a succes and good movie. Wonder woman is my second favorite DC character after Batman. And great that a woman lead can be a great succes. I didn't doubt it this time though. Wonderwoman is a great character with Gal a great actress. And now I hope with this succes that Marvel finally also make a hero show with a woman as its lead. Black Widow. My favorite Avenger (not favorite marvel char, because of Coulson, duh, and Fury).

Just got back from seeing it. In my opinion, this movie was everything that Batman VS Superman tried (and failed) to be. Meaning it was AWESOME! I found it to be just a tad slow toward the end but that may be a problem with me, not the movie itself. I did get distracted by this movie's 'Steve's' similarity to one Steve Rogers though. Now, I need to see it in theaters two more times to tie it with the new 'Pirates' movie. Finished watching it today. I've got uncovered spoilers in there for those who haven't seen it. I'm guessing the Steve Rogers you found the one in the movie similar to wasn't the one from the Lynda Carter tv series. I don't know about the comics, but in the tv series Steve was made unaware that WW and Diana Prince were the same person and it was more of a will they won't they game instead of jumping into bed together after knowing each other for a day or two. They apparently overlaid the sex and marriage standards of back then with those of today, but kept some of the lesser attitudes toward women. I also found it a little too similar to Captain America - the way the shield was used in combat, the climactic battle with another powered individual (Red Skull/Ares), and Steve Rogers even assembled his own version of the Howling Commandos.

You realise that that is exactly what caseyrook AKA Mechelle was saying, right? That the character of Steve Trevor in WW was rather similar to the character Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America.

I was typing just before heading to bed and mixed up the names Rogers and Trevor. Doesn't help that Evans and Pine are both named Chris.
