Wow isn't that WAY ahead of schedule? That's awesome news for me since I'm caught up but I have a friend that's still working his way through Jessica Jones season 2, Luke Cage season 2 and now just started Iron Fist season 2.

I will have to Clockwork Orange him somehow to get him to catch up!

One man's opinion only, but IF season 2 is better than season 1. A couple of interesting new characters as well as the fact that it's only 10 episodes with most being less than 50 minutes. Seems like they realized that it's better to do shorter/better than pad things to reach some imaginary "13 1-hour episodes" mark.

I read it as: "[...] but if season 2 is better than season 1[...]" And I was like "Yeah, then what?!" until I realised that IF stands for Iron Fist.

Slightly problematic abbreviation to use in a sentence, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I figured that the shorter episode count could only do the show good, although my problem with the first season of Iron Fist wasn't really the plot or pacing, but mostly the main character. Or should I say actor. Or probably both. I look forward to the new season because I care about Ward and I want to know if Joy keeps holding onto her insane grudge, but I could barely give two cents about Danny. (side note: Took me about 30 seconds just now to remember the character's name.

)

Haha oops. Yeah I guess that's the first time I've used "IF" on it's own. It's usually with DD, JJ and LC in some way so it's more clear.

You'll be glad to know that Danny is used a bit less in season 2 and the times he is used seem better to me. I wasn't one that had a huge problem with the actor though I didn't love the brooding, almost whiny way they wrote him in season 1. I really wanted to see the almost hippy Danny who's all zen and balanced etc. But season 2 was a bit better in that regard (though not entirely where I would have liked).
