I enjoyed it quite a bit actually. I thought Mary was the best character and would like to see more of her story in some way in the future.
Keeping it to 10 episodes and most of them barely 50 minutes really helped I think and I hope this trend continues - let the season/episodes fit the story rather than trying to pad the story to fit the 13x1hour format they seem to have started with.
My only minor complaints are the way they ended it. Not horrible IMO but a few decisions I'm not sure I loved.
As for Danny:
We'll see where they go with things and some of my concerns might end up explained in a way that gets me fully back on board, but overall an improvement from season 1.

Giving the fist to Colleen isn't an issue for me really. Though I'm sure there will be some fans that hate it. It took me a while in season 1 to warm to her character but at this point I like her character and her "holding" the fist can work. Though I did keep expecting it somehow wouldn't work and Danny would be "stuck" with it again in the end. And I thought her still using the Katana and channeling her chi through it was interesting. I said "holding" earlier because I still suspect they'll find a way to reset and get her back to normal.
As for Danny:
I had a full "What are THOSE?!?!?" moment when he whipped out his golden guns. I mean, he's a living weapon and martial artist and he has twin handguns now that somehow spit out magic bullets? I get that he's channeling his chi into the guns and bullets but he shoots both straight and then somehow "guides" them to merge and stop the other guys bullet? Is that because Danny's never used a gun before and can't actually aim at the opposing bullet so he has to chi-chi-cheat? I do like that he got the power back somehow and can use both fists but the gun thing was a step too far for me. We'll see where they go with this (if they get the chance). Frankly, before that scene I thought they had passed the fist/torch to Colleen so they could write Finn Jones off the show or at least into the background.
