Looks like I have weekend plans! As usual, it'll be a while til I get to it. Keep me (non-spoiler) informed, please.

Watched episode 1 last night. Pleasantly surprised. Though my expectations were as low as Luke Cage's voice.

Watched episode 1 last night. Pleasantly surprised. Though my expectations were as low as Luke Cage's voice. Yeah, same here. I mean, I expected I'd like it but that I would find myself thinking, "Wow, this episode is really dragging." It looks like the people involved took the criticisms of the first season into account when working on this one. Finn Jones really seems to have put a lot of effort into his fight scenes. It looks like he has been training.

It looks like he has been training. Well put. I enjoy everything in the MCU (even Inhumans). So the low end is more along the lines of thinking they could have done more or being a bit impatient with some side stories. IF has some of the best fighting scenes IMO. They manage to show some great martial arts without really repeating what DD does (which also has some amazing sequences). I also like that this season is 10 episodes. Hopefully this is a sign that Marvel has realized they can make the season and episode lengths fit the story and not the other way around. If a great story happens to fit best into only 10 episodes then do it that way - don't try to stretch it to 13 episodes. Same with episode length. If a "chapter" in a story is shorter or longer then just make that episode match.

Jemma Simmons haxemon, Seems the general consensus is right in line with your reviews. Critic score is up 33 points and audience score is up 11 points. I've only seen the opening fight sequence, and it was much improved over last season (they still need Mark Kolpack to supervise the VFX, though). If that opening is true to how the season is overall, I'm thinking I'll be in agreement with the audience score.......
