It was a bit slow at work so I put my new SSD in my laptop and did a fresh Windows 10 install. No more bloat and SSD speed.......... Yeah, I'm a bit giddy.

YAY! I'm looking at desktop computers, but it'll be a while before I'm actually ready to get one. I love my current laptop, but I'll be doing some photo and video editing for work and I know a desktop with a decent graphics card will be better for that. I never realized exactly how much bloat can turn up until I started trying to clean things up on my old desktop.

Today I put a new SSD in my new Dell laptop and doubled the RAM to 8GB. My Dell goes out of warranty in 5 days, so I'm doing a fresh install on it as well to remove the bloat. I will say, though, that my new Dell has much less bloat than my 6 yr old Toshiba that I put an SSD in yesterday. Now the Toshiba is a lean mean SSD machine.
Good luck with your desktop shopping......
