Wanted to start a spoiler thread rather than try to tag everything. Suggest that anyone who hasn't seen all the MCU films and most of the other MCU stuff tread carefully.
No need to tag anything from the films that have been released or AoS episodes that have aired. Would suggest maybe tagging anything from Luke Cage season 2 in case some folks haven't finished it yet.
My main reason for this is I wanted to talk about the mid-credits scene. I was NOT ready for that! So well done and such a cool way to tie into the larger story. Though I was sort of hoping that Hank would have to work with Tony in A4 given his feelings about Starks.
And the Stan-meo in this film was one of the best IMO. Another part that I wasn't expecting at all. Often when I see a new Marvel film I'm sort of on the lookout for Stan but this time I hadn't even thought about it. Probably a hint of truth in his line as well!
I could get into a side story about Janet's time in the quantum realm. With that wing-turned-into-sword she was carrying it looks like she'd have some great stories to tell.

I really enjoyed the movie and I think that really helped to make the mid credit scene a surprise. I was so caught up in what was happening on the screen that I didn't think about IW at all, so when we saw that black dust I literally said "Oh no!" I agree that Stan's line was probably true to life.
I think what I like about both Antman movies is the smaller scale (no pun intended). The events are important to the characters, but not of world shattering impact. I know a lot of people complain about the humor in the MCU, and when the topic is the annihilation of half the universe they may have a point, but in these movies the humor works perfectly. Luis is one of my favorite secondary characters out of all the movies. I think Michael Pena knocks it out of the park in this role. I also like that the villains are not bent on world domination or destruction. Ghost just wants to solve her personal problem and doesn't care how she does it, and Sonny is just an ordinary black market salesman. Although I think Walton Goggins elevates any part he plays beyond ordinary. However, the smaller scale doesn't keep it from being a part of the larger (this time the pun is intended) MCU. I have read speculation that Janet's line warning Scott to be careful of the time vortex may play a part in the next Avengers movie, and I want to know about Sonny's buyer for the quantum technology. Could this be someone who will play a part in another movie? I'm very curious to see what happens next, because according to IMDB (I know it can be wrong), Scott, Hope, and Janet are all supposed to be part of Avengers 4. I really hate that I have to wait a year to get a resolution for IW. I think that's why I liked A&W so much it didn't leave me on a cliffhanger, until the mid credit scene of course.
I agree that I would watch a movie about Janet in the quantum realm. There are so many unanswered questions including how the heck does she look so good after 30 years.

I liked the mid credit teaser as well. Took me by surprise. I was also pleasantly surprised by the appearances of Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Pfeiffer, although I didn't know it was her till I saw her name in the credits. I didn't keep up with her much during her prime, but I couldn't help being aware of her. I love the lighthearted nature of the Ant Man movies. And for you haxemon, a bronx cheer on your spoiler.

It was a great way to settle debates (though not always respected by those who saw it).
