Ryan O’Shaughnessy, representing Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Together", actually managed to upset the moral enforcers in China's broadcasting service so much, that those omitted the performance from last week's semi-finale. Or rather, it were the two male dancers delivering a very endearing choreography to the song that were the source of the éclat. Either way, the response of the European Broadcasting Union, who's in charge of the contest, was to revoke the broadcasting rights to China altogether. Massive thumbs up for that reaction!
Either way, it's a beautiful song with a wonderful performance imo, that should in no way warrant the 'scandal' it created. It's the 21st century people. Seriously!
