Just a quick drive-by posting to ask that if there are any Infinity War spoilers in the next couple of AoS eps to spoiler them out. Maybe even identify the spoiler as an IW spoiler... I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to get to a theater in the near future. (I assume I'll want to see this in IMAX, right?) I doubt there'd be any tonight (on opening day), but hey, you never know. (Showrunners sitting around table 10 months ago: "Hey, we're going to be on the day Infinity War breaks! We should sneak something in..." ) Assuming AoS is in MCU time... now... then nothing may happen on day 1 in the movie anyway... Thanks!

Circumstances have made it so I can't drive right now so it too looks like I won't be able to see it yet, either.

Considering the original US release date was next week and, like you, I kinda doubt they'll put a spoiler in on opening night, I'm pretty sure AoS won't catch up with Infinity War until two weeks from now at the earliest.

Definitely! I can invoke my mighty admin powers and edit posts if someone forgets. 😉. I suppose there is a chance someone posts a spoiler without realizing it’s a spoiler if they haven’t seen IW. Let me know if those of you who have seen it spot something, because it will be a while until I get to go.

Let me know if those of you who have seen it spot something, because it will be a while until I get to go. And that's problematic. If someone who hasn't seen IW posts something and it suddenly gets marked as an IW spoiler, then that person has been spoiled.

True, but at least people who haven’t seen it yet won’t be spoiled, which was my intention.

'Frinstance, I made a guess that Candyman was talking about IW when he mentions the events in New York. This show often makes passing references to the movies, like an Asgardian spotted in the "city" when Ragnorok was released. (I don't know where Daisy met Caine, but The Lighthouse is only 300 miles from NYC.) However, stating what the helicarrier was for (during season 2) would probably have been a spoiler. Though I admit The Theta Protocol might have been a head scratcher if the viewer didn't see the movie...

I didn't think of it while I was watching AoS last night and I haven't seen IW yet, but the trailer suggested to me that Thanos shows up in Waukanda - just the fact that they have all the Waukanda warriors there but we don't see any American or European soldiers, apart from the Avengers themselves. I suppose answering this would be a spoiler, but is the implication that Thanos showed up in NYC and all the warriors from Waukanda flew over but the US armed forces didn't show up?

It doesn't have to do with Thanos. Well, maybe it does. I haven't seen the movie. But in the trailers for IW, a ship appears in NYC. That vertical spinning ring thing. (Peter Parker spidey sense goes off and he sees it from his school bus, so it's definitely NYC. For some reason Marvel likes to beat up New York, don't they?)

However, each franchise has a favorite. London always gets nailed in Dr. Who and Godzilla and Gamera always go after Tokyo. Of course, if Thanos did his damage in California, the state would probably fall off into the ocean (some might cheer).
