So saw the movie on Saturday (I tend to be offline during the weekend - and with it being a long holiday weekend in the states, today's my first day back online)
Absolutely LOOOOVVVEEEDDDDD it!!!!!
Seriously, this is one awesome movie and deserves EVERY ounce of hype that it's been getting.
All of the cast were awesome. Loved the writing, loved the visuals, absolutely LOVED Wakanda and how they gave it such life and so steeped in culture. So colorful too.
Loved Killmonger as the villain, he's definitely among the top villains for me (Marvel, I feel, tends to do best with their villains when they have a viewpoint that's understandable - and maybe even a viewpoint that makes sense, wouldn't be such a bad idea *if* applied properly... of course, the villains always try to apply it in the worse way possible). Anywho, Killmonger is one of those. Michael B Jordan did a great job with it.
All the women were totally awesome and kickass. Especially loved Shuri and her personality and attitude
Chadwick continued to totally own T'Challa and the role of Black Panther.
Some more spoilerific thoughts (spoilers for ending of the film as well as one of the post credit scenes)
So yeah, great film - I would love to see it again in the theater if I get the chance (don't know if I will).

"Great, another broken white boy for us to fix" (paraphrasing) in response to Ross being brought in

Was kind of surprised that they killed off Klaue... I mean, it makes sense with how the story worked out and with Killmonger's agenda and everything... but still, was kind of hoping Serkis would stick around in the MCU for a bit longer. Also wasn't really expecting Killmonger to bite it either
Loved what they did with M'Baku. I know he was a potentially problematic character (what with the comics calling him "Man Ape" - yeah, that was never going to fly in film), but the way they did him was just awesome. Yes there's contention with T'Challa and he'll probably always remain a foil for him, but has his own sense of honor. He could have finished off T'Challa when his fishermen found him in the river, but instead, kept him alive. Instead of taking the last heart-shaped herb himself when it was offered to him, he brought T'Challa's family to him allowing them the chance to heal him. And even though he refused to give his army to T'Challa, he still showed up in the end because he realizes the gravity of the situation.
Finally the "White Wolf" post credit... I loved that (though I'm assuming that post credit scene takes place quite a bit after the bulk of the film because - though Wakanda is advanced - I have a hard time believing that they'd have Bucky cured within a week of him being brought to them (also, I believe there's a panel in the official Infinity War prelude where Shuri is talking to T'Challa about something regarding Bucky's programming with the implication that he's still in cryo). So I think that scene is a bit closer to the Infinity War end of things than it is BP's timeframe. But so good seeing him (and with the samurai man bun to go along with it). White Wolf also feels like a very fitting name for him
