New York 1896. Pretty much Sherlock Holmes meets Profiler. Starring Daniel Brühl, Luke Evans and Dakota Fanning.
Some very gruesome stuff, but I still like the show. Anyone watching?
This is a TNT show, btw, and not a Netflix production. I just learned that they apparently put the label "Netflix Original" on everything that Netflix has the first international distribution rights for. Seems like false advertisement to me, but whatever.

I was thinking it could have the alternate title: Criminal Minds:Victorian Behaviour

I've watched the first ep, have the following g two on the dvr. It reminded me of Sherlock (especially of The Abominable Bride since it took place in the same era lol), Criminal Minds and Mindhunter. Luke Evans is what drew me to the show. I usually don't like things in this kind of setting.

Well, when I said it was "Sherlock Holmes meets Profiler" in my initial post, I actually did mean the original late 19th century Holmes. Not Buttercup Cumbersnatch's version. Also, so much YES regarding Luke Evans! That guy is just... omg!

I just finished the ninth and penultimate episode and... damn, it's really been a while since a cliffhanger has made me curse quite as much! Can't wait for the season finale next week!
