Well, I wasn't expecting *THAT* twist at the end! /This show's been really throwing some curve balls at us the last couple episodes! I wasn't that impressed with the first few episodes, but WOW it's getting interesting!

Yeah, I was like: Holy shiiiiiiit!!!! Wtf?!? Finally explains what the deal with him and Michael is, though. But, I have to say, Lorca made an excellent Captain, and I really hope he stays around when all is said and done. I mean, his morals have always been pretty questionable, but he does get the job done. Loved the callback to episode 5, right after Lt. Stamets had used the spore drive for the first time, and we saw some version of him or something in the mirror. To find out it was actually himself from the mirror-verse... awesome!

Btw, does this show have to be so gruesome? Not that I'm actually squeamish in that regard, but by now it feels more like they're doing it for shock value rather than actually serving the plot. Or, well, to serve the plot in the most disgusting way they could think of. - The flashbacks to Tyler's torture/transformation? Okay, plot relevant, even with the additional information we got over time. Do they really have to show those every single episode, though, one image worse than the one before? - That one guy being killed in front of Lorca. As if we need any more reasons to despise the Terran Empire. Oh, or Lorca, after the revelation that he could have answered the question, just wouldn't. - The fate of the other Mr. Saru. Well, there goes my dinner... Seriously, I get that they want to be darker and edgier than the previous Star Trek shows, but come on! Enough is enough!

Yeah, I agree... it's like the writers are sitting around going, "Okay, how else can we push the envelope?" (I mean, this is the first Star Trek show to drop the f-bomb.)
