So we know that Robin sees more than just what she sees in any timeline (i.e. the Air Force officers in Enoch's kitchen). We have not gotten an explanation for it, yet.
While working tonight I had a theory: who is someone that has a history of producing alien languages that no one can recognize?
Coulson.
Hence my theory: Coulson was missing from the alt timeline. We did not get a reference to him, even from May which is unusual considering his relationship with all the people in that timeline we did see.
What if this is because he was alive then, just not with the team? What if he was doing his deal with GR or locked in some super ultra top secret prison?
And while he was doing whatever... something was awakened in him, like with the carvings, and he was the source of Robin's alien language because she saw him writing them in her visions?
Anyway, just a theory.

That could explain why Robin said he would unite the pieces or whatever.

That could explain why Robin said he would unite the pieces or whatever. Except she could be dyslexic and have meant that he would untie the pieces rather than unite them (sorry caseyrook AKA Mechelle).

Also, I doubt that because it's established that everything she says turns out to be right. Probably wouldn't be the case with those kinds of mistakes.

Actually, I meant for putting 'unite' and 'untie' in the same sentence.

I think they are two different languages. What Coulson wrote was Kree. This is an ancient language from another Galaxy. The Kree are from our Galaxy. Perhaps it's the Chronicum language, called Chronicumonium.
