I hope we have at least one Black Widow film before Scarlett retires from the franchise.

My guess is that the second IW film will end with some sort of destruction of the MCU as it is but a "reset" of sorts that will allow them to use all the newer characters. And of course if the timing works out with the Fox acquisition then those properties could be included. I honestly think they might have films scheduled for after IW that are actually very different from what we'd predict. Doctor Strange might survive whatever happens at the end of IW's "finale" but for example the next Guardians might be an entirely different group.
Thinking Thanos wipes reality in the 90% range and that allows Marvel to start over with new actors/characters etc.

Sure, some of the old guard might retire (Cap and Tony come to mind here), but lets not forget that Marvel/Disney is out to make money here, and they can hardly expect people to stay as invested in the MCU as they are, if they kill off 90% of the cast. I figure that Bucky of Falcon might be next in line to carry Cap's shield - if they go that route - especially in light of Sebastian Stan having about ten more movies in his contract. Now, for all we know, this "entirely different" feeling will come from the earth having been destroyed in the movie, just like AoS predicted. Maybe everyone who survives Thanos' attack will cross-over into a different universe. One where mutants exist! Or not. *shrugs* All I'm saying is, Marvel is not going to let go of 90% of their money makers!

All I'm saying is, Marvel is not going to let go of 90% of their money makers! Well no, not that high I don't think. But it does sort of feel like they'll be doing a film version of the recent reset in the comics. So many of the traditional characters still exist in some form but many also have new versions. Most of my comic book reading is X-Men based so many of the examples I'd have come from there, but for the MCU we might see Riri Williams introduced with Stark/RDJ as her AI sidekick. Or a female Thor while Odinson still is kicking around in some way. Though they seem to have broken ties with Jane in the films.

Honestly, I think from all the backlash I've seen online against the changes in the Marvel universe, female Thor has gotten by far the worst. (I can't judge, as I don't read the comics; I just find it really weird that they suddenly treated "Thor" as a title, while there's never been any indication before - afaik - that it's anything other than a name.) I can't imagine they will really go down that road. Maybe they'll go with the female Loki story line instead, if Tom doesn't want to stay around. Don't know whether the Disney execs would risk it, though. Fangirls would riot!

Don't know whether the Disney execs would risk it, though. Fangirls would riot! Well the comic industry (like many) never has a shortage of fan backlash, but yeah FemThor seemed to get a lot. I didn't read much of it (though did read some of the Unworthy Thor) but a friend did and said he enjoyed it. The whole "who is this new Thor" story was well done (in his opinion) similar to the Red Hulk when he was introduced. But yeah, I'm of two minds really. On the one hand I like the old stories and characters I grew up with but at the same time I am very aware that they're all very "white male". So I'm always happy to see something new and different and hope it works. A Muslim Ms Marvel, a gay Iceman etc. - bring it on. Just make it work and don't do it for the sake of it. Another split-minded opinion I have is that while I would watch films that are well done but have less popcorn appeal, I do want the MCU to make a ton of money so they keep making content. So if they have to churn out more RDJ to keep the lights on instead of giving us a great Riri Williams story then I'll get by.
