Honestly, now that I've seen Galavant, I can say that that show had about ten times the creative effort and love put into it that Inhumans had. And I bet they had to work with a fraction of the budget! The only good thing that came from Galavant's cancellation was that it freed Mallory Jansen up for Agents of Shield. Good for you! I tried to watch it when it was broadcast on-air. They showed two eps back-to-back for four weeks. Previews looked great! Couldn't make it through the second hour, and turned it off. And I like musicals. You are not alone in that. I did the same exact thing.

Well, I think of it this way, If Inhumans isn't canceled, We'll definitely get an AoS season 10! Didn't they announce it was cancelled before the episodes even aired? No, that was all the youtube critics after seeing the IMAX opening. (Which, after seeing the first two episode, you kinda knew where they were coming from.) But to be fair, they said the same thing about AoS from seasons 2 through 4. S5 is the only season for AoS they haven't exactly predicted cancellation, but that might be because I've refused to watch any spoilers this year, and just haven't heard it. And I have said it before, even if they do cancel Inhumans, they already have established the characters. No reason they still couldn't show up in a cross-over...

Not even the MCU cares about comic canon, so why should anyone at Marvel care whether Fox does? Plus, Inhumans is part of the MCU, FF, X-Men, etc. are not; thus, a product as sub-par as Inhumans was on so many levels reflects badly on the entirety of the MCU (not to mention the fact that it's all canon now!), Fox screwing up FF on the other hand has no influence whatsoever on the Marvel movie & tv brand.

In the Deadpool director commentary, he specifically said they had to get permission from Marvel to give Negasonic Teenage Warhead her exploding ability, so I assume Marvel makes sure their characters stay within their comic parameters. Fox has the rights to the characters, but they don't own the characters.

To me that sounds very different than having to make a phone call or two to clear up whether a certain change to a character is okay.
