What the title says. This show has been such a disappointment of the already low expectations towards it, that it's pretty much an embarrassment to have the Marvel logo in front of it. Seriously, when Iron Man 2 and the second season of Agent Carter can run circles around something, quality-wise, it's high time that some heads get to roll!

I'm currently trying to convince/guilt/bribe my mom into watching AoS. She refuses to watch even one small clip and I've made it my life's goal right now to make her.
Why?
BECAUSE SHE WATCHED ALL 8 EPISODES OF THE INHUMANS!
My argument is that if she was willing to watch that disaster, she should be willing to watch a show that is by all accounts, critically acclaimed!
I swear I'm adopted...It'd explain everything.
Edit: It should be noted that this is a woman who had never watched an episode of Marvel television before the Inhumane asshole people.

Update: I asked her flat out why is it she's so against watching the show and told her that this season is set up so you could pretty much jump in without having watched the previous seasons. She said it doesn't "seem like her kind of show" and anyway, she has finals coming up. (She gets her Associates next month). I told her there's an awesome device called a DVR and that they're great for catching up on shows you didn't have time to watch. I think I may be tipping her to my side! '

As I said in another thread, from ABC's perspective, it was probably "Better than a Galavant Season 3..." And this series was ABC studios. I wouldn't blame Marvel itself, any more than I'd blame Marvel for Fantastic Four...

I saw an article that said a fan asked the AOS cast about a possible crossover with Inhumans. One of them reportedly almost used the word "canceled" in reference to Inhumans. So, if the AOS cast knows that Inhumans is canceled why haven't they released that info to the public?

So, if the AOS cast knows that Inhumans is canceled why haven't they released that info to the public? That cast member was Ming-Na at HVFF SanJose. I watched her panel and the article you read is accurate, she did (accidentally?) allude to Inhumans accidentally being cancelled. Possible reason it hasn't been officially announced (if cancellation is really true): ABC may be trying to milk as many views as they can on the ABC app and ABC GO as they make advertising $$$, and people may not want to watch a show slated for the axe. We may not get an official statement until Upfronts in the Spring.......

Honestly, now that I've seen Galavant, I can say that that show had about ten times the creative effort and love put into it that Inhumans had. And I bet they had to work with a fraction of the budget! The only good thing that came from Galavant's cancellation was that it freed Mallory Jansen up for Agents of Shield. As for who's to blame, I'm sure I've read an interview with Inhuman's showrunner, where he was complaining about the intense Marvel oversight, making sure they were in line with the movie side of the MCU, etc. So it's not as if Marvel was blind to what was going on.

So much good stuff gets axed every year, it would be a slap in the face if Inhumans gets to continue. At this point I would be more than happy if the rest of the MCU would just pretend like that show never happened!

There's only rumors and speculation. If they announced AoS is DOA, what little ratings they'd expect would tank because a lot of people wouldn't want to invest time in a show they know will be canceled. Also, I'm not sure I'd be done screaming yet because I'm annoyed enough with the people even considering this season to be the last.

I've been fighting with people about the fate of AoS elsewhere and got a little caught up in it.

I tried to watch it when it was broadcast on-air. They showed two eps back-to-back for four weeks. Previews looked great! Couldn't make it through the second hour, and turned it off. And I like musicals. I'm sure Mavel was around for Fantastic Four to make sure Fox stayed within comic canon, but that didn't make it a good movie...
