Dunno. Muse ran outta juice. I'd have to read The Darkhold to get that answer; and .... well.... you know.... vicious circle. Chicken!

There was more that AIDA created than the LMD's or the framework: quantum brains. That has to be the endgame. Right now rhe idea was to put shield leadership in the framework. But what is its goal to replace the entire world with LMD's ebdowed with quantum brains and put them all in the framework. That way the quantum brains will rule the world. Or it is just a few. To give home to creatures from hell. And when that happends GR will return to help fight them.

The Darkhold, although not necessarily sentient, IS an enchanted object. Whoever, or whatever, enchanted it has an endgame. Considering the book comes from a collection of books on dark magic, I have to think the endgame is the spread of evil which would begin with the destruction of political powers. If successful in replacing SHIELD leadership (to start) then the replacements could spread through the halls of power like a worm in the data stream. Shield decoys replace Talbot who gives them access to POTUS, which in turn could spread throughout Washington and eventually the world. Then..... well, then we're looking at the Darkhold's version of Terminator/Matrix where instead of machines rule the Earth, demons rule it while growing and harvesting actual human's to feed on........ Does that work?

Or better yet, lend me the book once you're done, will you?

Speaking of the Darkhold, i hope we'll see more of magic / science-magic, the dimensional portal was awesome (i loved how Aida had to litteraly "connect the dots" to open it).

The portal was indeed very cool. The hell dimension where they were about to suck into sounds also interesting. My guess is that that is what this is all about. And where the GR will show up again.

Having him back for two or three episodes shouldn't be that much of an issue (I hope).

Spoiler from Doctor Strange Hell Dimension ? It was the Mirror Dimension from Doctor Strange no ? Also i found this one when i was searching for these pictures. The black mark around Kaecilius eyes and the one from the hallucinations caused by the ghosts look alike. But it's weird because if i'm right, Kaecilius has these marks because of Dormammu's power and the Darkhold is written by the Elder God Chthon in the comics. Maybe the Darkhold use power from the Dark Dimension ? It would explain why it can corrupt those who read it.
