No other character within the current MCU carries himself with any such swagger, authority and confidence. Why is that? I always wanted Thor to have that type of gravitas but sadly he is now stuck in comedic Arrested Development because it suits one of the character strengths of Hemsworth? I am not at all disparaging Hemsworth because it shows his range. I just feel that Marvel tiptoed around having Thor be more commanding in his presence. IN the first Thor he tries that with Marcy and she Tasers him. That was a clue how they were going to treat him.
T'Challa hopefully doesn't have that same fall coming to him.
Now that I think about it the Red Skull attempted to parlay his search for power into this position of a Higher Being but he was mocked and we liked the 'Mocking' because he was the villain.
