I almost didn't get to the opening credits on this one. I know we've complained on this board about the AoS episodes that start in the middle of some action then flash back to a day or two earlier, but that might have worked better here. Fortunately it did pick up, but not until after LaMarr had to do a really stupid scene in order to cause the initial trouble.

Well, the episode definitely got my upvote! Sure, there was the initial "What's going on?" moment, but I thought that paid off brilliantly when we saw what happened to the guy thanks to the voting. The only downsides for me were that I don't really care about Lamarr much - and his behaviour in this episode did nothing to change that - and that Kelly basically spent the whole episode doing absolutely nothing. But as she gets a lot of focus most of the time, it's fine that she stepped back for an ep.

Kinda wonder why we have to talk about Alara and her exes every week, though. Are they setting her up for developing a crush on Mercer?

ayanami: The book sounds really cool btw. It's about one guy 10 years after the zombie outbreak gathering different perspectives from a bunch of survivors, so you have like a dozen different stories/settings in the novel. Plus, the author is actually Mel Brooks'... Nov 24, 2024 23:12:58 GMT
