RIP Gorgon
I didn't really see any reason Louise needed to stay behind except that Medusa probably didn't want her along. As long as they are gone when the barn door opens the ex's story breaks down and all is ok.
The miners going to Earth was useless as they didn't really provide any useful support. Maybe it was just for the clairvoyant kid's father to be among them and the effect that will have on him.
Even if Maximus hasn't gone full psycho (and he probably has), the actor is certainly playing him that way.

Sad about Gorgon. Max is nuts. Medusa seems to be coming around to thinking about how they treated their people and how they can be better leaders. Loved how Louise and Dave made his ex look jealous and crazy.

I liked the show okay until this episode.
I think I actually forgot what the plot of it was at some point.
I never wanted SHIELD to be on more than when I was watching it...

Gorgon's death was so bad, it was laughable! First the guy stomps his hoof for no god damn reason (note that he was holding Mordis up at this point!), then gets killed by some random piece of the ceiling falling down on him. Come on! Even the superior was still alive after Skye collapsed a massive cement pillar plus half the ceiling right on top of him. Plus, how could anyone think that cuffing Mordis' hands in the front was a good idea?? You know, the guy who could easily kill everyone if it weren't for that mask he was wearing?! Yeah, no way he could possibly reach that, now that his hands are cuffed! Not to mention the fact that they just let him lie there, for some reason counting on him not waking up again until they went back to him. Damn, Gorgon really deserved to be killed off! I only wish they would have off-ed Karnack as well. Really dislike the guy.

One of the more important characters, with A LOT of screen time, and his death had as little, or less, impact than Triton's. If by any chance in hell this show gets a "miracle mouse renewal", they better get a new showrunner and new writers. For supposedly building up to a "shocking season finale" (their words, not mine), this was an awful ep in a mediocre series. It's a shame that this show begins with the Marvel Scroll................

Karnack and Crystal seemed to be the only ones showing any (though limited) emotion at Gorgon's death... And I think Lockjaw whimpered. The king and queen seemed to be more like, "oh well". It was more in Karnack's voice than on his face. Crystal looked like she wanted to cry, but really didn't.

What I did get from Black Bolt, though, was how angry he was, even more so as he had to remain entirely silent.

It's a shame that this show begins with the Marvel Scroll................Honestly, I continue to be baffled by how Marvel could allow such a crappy show to even come into existance. If feels as if everyone in the production team, from the showrunner, the writers, down to the lowest makeup assistant was drafted into this mess and just wanted to finish up their contract and go home. It seems like on occasion one of the actors actually gives a damn, but for the most part, I detect zero personal and professional pride in this show, as in, the people involved actually wanting to deliver a good product.
