How is anything that happened on the show at any point not related to what happened earlier? Sure, things move forward, but it's all a logical series of events.

seasons 4,5 and half of 6 just totally lost my interest. With Arya --what was it, even--was she the silent kid for a while or something? , the witches, burning kids at the stake, and Bran hooking up with the old man in the tree. I am glad to be back to Cersie & family, Kaleesi, and Snow. At least, mainly. Littlefinger is still a creep though! God I hope he perishes at the hand of Sensa. Obviously, I didn't keep up with it that much the last few seasons.
