Do you think we will ever get more back story on Coulson's father?
The way his father is part of Phil's 'defining moment' makes me view that as one of the few loose threads that this show has left, especially since it was mentioned prominently by Po in order to get under Coulson's skin. They way that scene plays out alludes to an idea that there was more to the story than him just dying.
Do you think we'll get any kind of resolution to this plot thread? Or do you think it was just lines by the writers to fill in lines that would be appropriate for a scene with Coulson and we're not meant to dwell on them?
Coulson's dad was mentioned three times:
- When Po mentioned Coulson's 'defining moment' while interrogating Coulson in 'The Magical Place'.
- When Coulson tells Mockingbird about his dad being a teacher in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 'One of Us'.

Anakin Couldad turned out to be working with HYDRA. He and the real world version of Madame Hydra were both killed by Nick Fury in retaliation for the death of Agent Windu.
