Good to know (at least, assuming her information is accurate/came from the studio) *adds information to my 2017-2018 spreadsheet*Yes, I make a spreadsheet of the tv schedule (I'm a nerd... surely you all realize this by now?). Helps us figure out where we have conflicts (we have an older DVR and so can only record 2 shows at the same time) and therefore what decisions we have to make when figuring what we want to make a priority to watch live, what to record (and if there's more than 2 shows on at the same time... what to catch up on via On Demand). For example, looking at Friday nights already, *IF* CBS keeps their same schedule we'll have more shows to watch or record on DVR than usual as...before...Friday nights were pure CBS nights for us (MacGyver, Hawaii Five-O, and Blue Bloods). Now MacGyver will be on against NBC's Blindspot, and Inhumans/Agents of SHIELD will be on against Hawaii Five-O (we'll probably give Blindspot the priority since we mostly watch MacGyver to just laugh at how silly stupid it kind of is - but in the fight between AOS and H5O? I can see my family ending up split on that)I hope you win the fight, if you are on the AoS side! I used to love H5O in its original run. Looking back on it now, that was probably because it had a ship full of hot babes, and I was going through puberty at the time. I have only managed to catch one episode of the new version, and it had the most hokey gunfight ever...one pistol vs. 6 submachine guns.... guess who won! [edit: plus, I just loved watching those big-ass waves, on the title splash] Yeah, Hawaii Five-0 is one of the shows I watch, but keep asking myself "why?". It's some of the stupidest s##t I've seen in my life. |

This is the important good news. I'm okay with the friday and after the Inhumans show. Already happy we got a fifth season, anyway. Though also a bit concerned how an earlier slot could influence the show's darkness. |

Sure, there were some gruesome deaths, etc, but S1-3 gave us Dr. Debbie burned to a crisp, Ward murdering people, Ward torturing people, Whitehall cutting Jiaying to pieces, Coulson killing Ward and so on. Plenty of dark stuff, even in the earlier timeslot. |

I'm not so worried about dark themes, but it definitely had a good thing going this year. Hope it continues. |
