The 1978 Champagne Jam at Georgia Tech Stadium was the only big outdoor Rock concert I ever went to. The Atlanta Rhythm Section recorded a live album there that night. Both of these are from that album. My friend Kenny and I described the concert later as a small private party. Just me and him and 80,000 of our very close friends.
Unfortunately, I never got the opportunity to see them live and I understand that they were one of the great "live" bands (if you've seen concerts in the 70's you know what I mean by that). |
