I would think that probably not-so-much, having spent her entire life in a laboratory somewhere. Yet she did want a breakfast nook.
I would dearly love to see the show give one more shout-out to Dollhouse, with a scene like this: (Fitz and Simmons trying to reconcile recent events, at home in their new flat) Fitz comes stumbling sleepy-eyed in to the kitchen, and Jemma says,
"Good morning, honey! Are you hungry? I've just discovered that I can make these things called scrambled eggs, and they're pretty darned good!"
(said by the client that wanted Echo to be a mom for his infant, and paraphrased even earlier by Ballard to Mellie). Although, Mellie had to instruct him to take them off the stove, they were done.

Pancakes are one of my comfort foods when I'm depressed. I can't believe they couldn't find 10 mins to show Fitz & Simmons in a new apartment.

or, they could reference Dollhouse by having Jems serve up mac-n-cheese by candlelight, and Fitz saying, "again??"
(In regard to Ballard and Echo being on the run)

I'm not so sure there's been time to actually get/move into a flat because the Watchdogs and Darkhold stuff happened during the search. /Would have been nice to have a chance to be all domestic, though. 😄

Trust me, if they show us something like Fitz and Simmons cuddling on the couch, the next scene will be someone knocking on the door, and then shooting whoever opens. AoS simply can't let Fitzsimmons be happy. Better not tempt fate!

It would have been nice to see. And I'm pretty sure they moved in, Daisy did say it was already paid for, and theirs. And don't get me wrong, I would eat any pancakes you made for us all...even gluten free ones, if that's even possible.

Having pondered this question since yesterday, I have decided to answer your question with a question. Why does Jemma have to be the homemaker? Why can't Fitz make the pancakes? Are you a little old fashioned beren44 ? Actually we know Jemma can make sandwiches so....

Hey we saw her fridge when she was undercover; saracha and beer IIRC.

Oh it doesn't, its just a count, polgara. But its there. I feel young...mostly. Young enough to like to eat stuff that tastes better than the crud I manage to whip up. (unless we're talking BBQ)

but can she make a scrambled-egg sandwich, DoTheMath ? I'm sure she can. Anybody can scramble an egg (it's just that some do it better than others). Gotta go with polgara on this thread. "Homemaker is definitely a dated term" and besides, cooking does not a homemaker, make. So, I'm wondering... are you inquiring if she's a house keeper or a good cook? Seems this thread is more about food so maybe the title should have read: "Can Jemma Scramble an Egg?"
