On I-pad. Gonna try from here. Yay, it worked! This is Loki. She is a husky/Shepard mix. Still playful at times, even though she is nearly eleven. She likes to chase bubbles.

She's a good girl. I had dog tv on for her the last two nights (free preview this weekend). She didn't pay it much attention though. At least not until she heard a puppy whimper. She then looked at the screen and tilted her head (that adorable thing dogs do).

Another from my Wall of Valor Came as a stray in Mar of '07. Was getting bad storms that night so let him in the back yard for shelter (we always have a spare dog house or two and we put one under the covered patio for him). He was approx 5 yrs old and healthy; he had a collar but no tags or chip. We put fliers up everywhere and notified all the nearby vets and the nearest shelter in case someone looked for him there, but we never got any calls......... So..... welcome to the family. He liked my wife but it was obvious he was used to being a man's companion. He wasn't only my buddy, he was my zen. If I had a crappy day, I'd just go out and sit with him and all the crap from my day disappeared. Had to say goodnight to him this past November. Ripped my heart out to say goodnight to him, but he blessed me in life and I wished him blessings as he continued on his journey. Bo:

She then looked at the screen and tilted her head (that adorable thing dogs do). My sister is a veterinarian, and has had a dog for about 15 yrs, who sadly just passed away a few months ago. She was originally a large animal (horse) doctor, DoTheMath.. I know you would appreciate that. Although she is a research dietician for Hills Science Diet now, and manages a Beagle hotel that is more like the Hyatt Royale for over 100 dogs..they have astro-turf playgrounds, their very own water park with water jets coming out of the ground, and so on, a computer controlled feeding mechanism that tracks their eating habits and preferences, and so on.. It is quite fascinating to see how high-tech it is. A great big dog that her daughter found when it was young. (Lab/Australian Shepard/Newfoundland mix, most likely) aquaangel, that dog would sit and stare and try to chase animals off the screen, and bark at them! You could NOT get his attention, when Animal Planet or something similar was on the screen. I have never seen anything like him. It was so funny! Elephants, dogs, cats, raccoons, it didn't matter. He was in chase mode! He would literally start panting and drooling when a critter showed up on the TV! And oh yeah, he loved his frisbees too!

My 2 chocolates: Front doggy is Karmin, doggy in the back is her half-brother Koti. ere's a good picture of Koti himself. I'd put up a good pic of Karmin and my cat, they'll get close enough to almost touch while napping, but I keep getting told the images are too big.

I got some "image to large" warnings, too so I resized 'em to 50% and they worked great. Koti looks like a fine companion. FYI: the pic of Karmin and Koti comes thru as just a small thumbnail.
