I think May is going to be the one that helps Daisy escape.
Now, I don't think that May is going to be defecting, but I think she's going to end up in a situation where HYDRA has turned against her so she has to seek help from the Resistance, or at least Daisy.
If anything, I think it might be Coulson that wakes her up or at least gives her the same feeling that he had about things not being right. I think this will be so that the writers can capitalize on the work that they've put into Philinda lately.
Just a theory.

Hydraida will want to kill off the team to protect the framework. Whether inside the framework or out, I don't know; but if it's inside where she wants to kill them, then your theory plays right into that.........

I agree this is a great theory. I will be curious to see how it plays out. I'm concerned about the length of time May's been in the Framework. I am wondering where this whole storyline will leave us at the end of Pod 3 to set up S5. One certain thing though is that we are in for an emotional roller coaster ride. The previous season arcs were emotional, but I don't recall having as much of a sense of "What other awful things can happen?!" as I do with this particular Pod. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's that the writers are really giving the actors a chance to go all out with the emotional stuff.

Judging from your innate feel for the characters, based upon your wonderful fan fiction, there is no way that I am going to argue with you on that one! I'm going to read some more of your stories tonight

You know something, caseyrook AKA Mechelle ? You write prose, and do a really good job at it, yet I write lyrics, and have been my whole life. Sometimes, songs are inspired by an idea/theme (usually a profound gut-wrenching moment of agony or joy), sometimes by a melody that words suddenly appear to in your head, sometimes, just by a catch-phrase that grabs your ear and sounds like it would be a good title, and usually the best ones come rushing at you so quickly, you can't even scribble them down fast enough. I cannot count the number of occasions that I have lost lyrics because I could not find a pencil or paper in time to capture them, before they fly away. Some songs are written in a matter of minutes, without a single edit ever, and some get hammered out, beat on, re-scripted over and over for years, and a few never ever get to the 'done' phase. In this particular case, you just put a smile on my face, on the 'catch-phrase' aspect of things. "Daisy's Situation" just BEGS to be a song, waiting for lyrics. Maybe even a band name! I already have one, still in the long-term editing phase, almost just an idea, called "Natalie's Anatomy" It just kind of flows off the tongue, and has a natural lilt to it that sounds musical, if you know what I mean. The only solid, finished line I have to that one right now is the closing line of the chorus. "Felt so good, it just had to be, Natalie's anatomy." And yes to anyone else out there reading this post, the very act of me putting this online is basis for copyright, so don't try to go steal it from me

The more I think about it, the more I like it! 'Daisy's Situation' is a perfect hook! It automatically draws you in, you instantly want to know more.. what IS her situation?..what has she done?..what kind of trouble is she in?..is she pregnant, maybe?.. That is the EXACT function of a good song title. So, you go finish your 'Coulson and the Bagels' story, and I'll be busy writing a new song! Thanks for the inspiration! <3

Considering the ratings, I'm sure they want to make this a suitable series finale. They are tying up loose ends with every character.

It would be absolutely perfect if Chloe Bennet formed a group with some other people on the set (I don't remember if any of the rest of the cast play instruments) and did some gigs at charity events.

It is a game, or rather, just a function of my brain, that never stops, Hari Seldon. I think the best one I ever heard was from a waitress at our local watering hole, after she came out of the walk-in freezer. Apparently a tray of food got spilled in there, and she said that "Free Range Corn Dogs" were all over the floor.

To me, "Free Range Corn Dogs" sounds like a song I'd expect to find on a Neil Young album.
