At the 20:20 mark, Jemma leaves the cockpit of the Quin Jet to talk to Coulson.
Before she joins him, we see Coulson staring at Ward's rifle in its bag and then him looking at his left hand.
So he totally remembers Ros's death and Ward's murder, right?
Just the look on his face when Jemma leaves him, tells me that he does.

I don't think he actually remembers it yet, but seeing Ward with the rifle definitely triggered something in him. I have the feeling that Coulson is going to remember some very... unfortunate details at some point, right when they're in the middle of a mission or something.

There was another very subtle reference to his left hand, I think. When Coulson is in the classroom, educating about Nazi's, he walked up to the student who was questioning things, and places his left hand on the student's shoulder. The kid gives a very strange look at his hand, like something felt 'off'.

It was obvious that Coulson was not his favorite teacher.

That was my initial thought as well, caseyrook AKA Mechelle . Upon re-watching, it just seemed like it was a tiny bit too focused on by the directors, to be disregarded.

Before she joins him, we see Coulson staring at Ward's rifle in its bag and then him looking at his left hand. For some reason this just reminds me of a scene in an episode of The Librarians. The character played by Christian Kane finds out they are up against vampires and holds up his hand, looks at it, and says, "I hate vampires!". In the series, Angel, Kane's character had his hand cut off by a vampire. Sorry if that's too off-topic.

And, I can't fault your for going OT. It's not like I don't do that.

And I have seen all of The Librarians, its a goofy, fun, entertaining show meant to be nothing more than that. And you are absolutely right, Hari Seldon it was very similar to that scene. Its tongue-in-cheek as can be, caseyrook AKA Mechelle, but I have a feeling you would like it. Most of it, anyway..there are a few dogs in the yard, but most of it is fun.

There's nothing wrong with dogs in the yard! it's the "dog bombs" that ruin it

I don't think anything is too off topic if at least two of us here get the reference.

Isn't it directed by Jonathan Frakes a lot? Or is that just the movies?

I don't know, offhand, caseyrook AKA Mechelle . I've never paid much attention to who writes, directs, or produces shows, until I started hanging around with all of you. Although, the few things I have been aware of that Frakes directed have all been very good. And I have not seen the movies, though they are definitely on my list.

I pretty sure Frakes did direct all the Librarians movies.
