I was just finally able to watch it and I loved it! Some of the stuff at the end was pretty spot on as far as Marvel ("Everyone signs the NDA"). Did anyone else think something happened to the program for a split second? Not really. I thought the program selection screen meant we the viewers were tuning out and looking to watch something else and she was going to poke out and talk us into coming back. I wasn't expecting the 4th wall break to be so literal.

So...... needless to say, I have been somewhat conflicted with this show. Watched every episode somewhat begrudgingly. The finale, as is usual for Marvel, DID actually bring it home. Without the finale I probably would have had more negative opinions of this show; but, now I'm fully on board. To say the show was different would be an understatement. It seemed to lack direction. It was SO atypical of Marvel. The finale showed that being atypical was the exact purpose of the show, and I loved it for that. Many thanks to haxemon for the occasional mentions of the show being true to the source material. Kept me engaged in my worse times of doubt. As to that respect of the source material: I found the following on Twitter: The show was truly a comedy and Tatiana was perfect. The cast all worked well together and you could tell there was plenty of good chemistry on set. Since everything is connected, what permanent connections will come from this show? DD is obvious as we are now aware of his future Will Blonsky have a more important role in the future or will he forever remain comedy relief............. or is that the last we'll see of him? Not familiar with Skaar, so I don't know his role (if any) in the Marvel Universe Did I miss anything?

Not familiar with Skaar, so I don't know his role (if any) in the Marvel Universe Did I miss anything? My thoughts here (and glad you hung with it and that it payed off for you): I feel like there will be threads throughout other projects in that "someone" is pulling some strings. Could K.E.V.I.N. be something that Kang put together? The Wrecking Crew (minus Wrecker himself) were at the meeting at the end, so I still think there's an inner circle of sorts that's going to remain beyond Todd. Todd might be just a patsy similar to Trevor Slattery in IM3. I'm not clear on how involved Blonsky really is. I don't buy that he's generally reformed but also didn't realize what the group was up to that he was hosting and speaking to. Skaar (in short) comes about in the comics after the Planet Hulk storyline that was loosely weaved into Thor 3. In the comics, Hulk was exiled from Earth and that's how he ended up on Sakaar. He became champion but then worked to help overthrow the leaders of the planet and took over. His wife gets killed by a bomb that Hulk blames on the Illuminati (who exiled him) so he goes back to Earth to get revenge (World War Hulk). He doesn't know then that his son survived. Skaar ends up as part of the Young Avengers in the comics (or maybe New Avengers in that iteration) so Skaar could definitely show up in future films/phases with Casie Lang, Kate Bishop, America Chavez, Eli Bradley (young black kid from Cap and Winter Soldier D+ series), Wanda's sons, Riri Williams and Joaquin Torres (also from Cap and WS). If we're lucky, a Hulk movie that shows Hulk going back to Sakaar to find his son might be in the works too.
