I live in Fort Worth, Texas, the lesser known but better half of the Metroplex. I am 51 and I don't have a problem telling you how old I am because getting older Is better than the alternative.

Thought I'd bump this in case any of the newer members want to chime in........ Thanks, DTM. I went looking for this thread the other day and didn't find it. Also, there is a sort of prominent player here, *ahem*, Director even, that has not weighed in. Although I can certainly understand not necessarily wanting to share that kind of info, I'm still giving you just a gentle nudge. No need to even reply, and no hard feelings if you don't

I guess I didn't weigh in yet! I'm currently in Virginia, but I'm a transplant from further up north. Pro tip: no matter how long you've lived south of the Mason-Dixon line, you're still a Yank. Also, sweet tea is an acquired taste which I haven't been able to figure out yet.

Looking at the threads in the AoS section, I just realised that this one maybe fits better into the Common Room. What do you say, Jemma Simmons?

whole-heartedly agree with this idea of moving the thread. Admittedly, I didn't look too hard or long for it, but the Common Room was the place I searched for it. And thanks for the reply, yankee-girl. Trust me, sweet tea is NOT the norm in Texas. Yuk. It is creeping its way in, though.

I figured I'd sticky this thread too, so it's easier to keep track of. 😄

Hey AOSers (do AOS fans have a name?)!
Since about season two I lurked around the AOS IMDb board. I very rarely contributed, but I loved reading the boards after an episode had aired. Big thanks to Jemma Simmons for putting this site together. There's already great discussions being had.
To answer the question of the thread, I'm a 24 year old from Boston and currently living in NYC.

Even if it's flavored tea. I cannot taste the flavor unless I put a little sweet in it. Lately, I've been putting French vanilla creamer (instead of sugar) in my tea (which is what I do for coffee as well). Sometimes I use half and half creamer (mostly in restaurants since they often don't have the flavored creamer). I've also used coconut milk. I've tried soy milk, but it doesn't taste good in tea or coffee. Also, French Vanilla creamer in rootbeer tastes like a rootbeer float.
