With the acknowledgement that everyone is different and every household can be very different, as someone who went from a bustling, very social office to working from home several years ago, I thought I’d post some tips that might work for some of you who haven’t done the WFH thing before. Though you made a mention of raiding the fridge, I'll just add: do not keep snacks handy in the workspace you've set up. At least with raiding the fridge you have to get up and walk to another room. If you take something like a large bag of chips to the workspace thinking you're just going to grab a few here and there, you'll find the bag empty by the end of the day and you won't be feeling up to having dinner. Also remember the gym has probably shut down, so everything extra you eat is going to hit you twice as hard.

There are also a ton of people putting out simple "at home, no equipment" workouts on social media. Be careful the source and don't do anything you wouldn't normally do at a gym etc. (would be a bad time to pull a hammy) but being active is important too.

Whenever I hear something about people wanting to work out, but having no equipment, I always think of this: (Sorry for the abysmal quality!)

Whenever I hear something about people wanting to work out, but having no equipment, I always think of this Yeah I'm a bit older I guess since my mind turns to Sarah Conner in T2 doing chinups with her overturned bed frame. Or maybe "older" isn't the right word LOL

Black Widow had some good advice about this situation, way back during Civil War... Great point. We all know the mess Steve made when he ignored her

Rest assured, though, Sarah turning from silly waitress to badass warrior hasn't been forgotten by anyone!

Non-sequitur:
My 24/7 grocery store company (Safeway subsidiary) sent e-mail that they are reducing hours from 24/7 to 6am to 10pm or midnight, depending on the store.
All bars and restaurants have been closed.
I've gotten some 30-40 e-mails from organizations/businesses over the past couple of weeks about the Wuhan Virus, some of which I don't even do business with anymore.
I've got a dozen movies in my queue that I want to watch. This'll be a good time to start.
And, if you want to read about the latest Wuhan Virus computer scams...

I picked up groceries today. Most of Canada is down to reduced hours for grocery stores (including a "seniors only" for the first opening hour after the store has been sanitized). Starbucks etc. are drive-through only.
Anyway, I brought the groceries home and felt a little self-conscious as I systematically brought stuff into the house, sanitizing before and after, disinfected everything before putting it away, wiped everything down after etc. I felt a bit like an escaped con covering my tracks, wiping off my fingerprints as I ditched my getaway car etc.
But honestly, better to feel a bit silly for a few weeks than risk being a part of the problem. This virus can apparently live on a hard surface for almost 2 weeks. Meaning if it's anywhere in your home you WILL pick it up and take it outside with you and pass it on to whatever you touch (shopping carts, door handles etc.) I don't want to have that some sort of viral Kevin Bacon path starts with me and leads to someone with young kids or someone with a weak immune system.
Stay safe out there fellow Agents.

Stay safe out there fellow Agents. Same here. I've been doing the same things. I figure if we do those things and we don't see very many people come down with this, that was the point! But if we don't do those things, that many more people will end up sick. I am absolutely infuriated by these idiots going on spring break anyway and then carrying the virus back to their college community and then home before they realize they are sick. (See the morons who decided to have spring break in FL anyway). Local hospitals are starting to triage for the ER in tents outside. And this may not be the only wave of the virus to come through. We're in this for the long haul.

Black Widow had some good advice about this situation, way back during Civil War... Speak off the devil. Relax, I'm in my bunker in a classified location and only go out when I need to.
