Thankfully, we live in a time where fancy TV intro sequences - especially on cable shows I think - are all the rage and some of them are real eye-candy. Of course there are also shows that just go for a simpler title card, like Supernatural, or Lost back in the day, or add an opening narration like the DC shows love to do.
Here I want to collect some of the best opening sequences in TV shows out there, so feel free to add any of your own favourites. These here are mine:
Daredevil:
Game of Thrones:
Westworld:
Elementary:
Black Sails:

I love the Game of Thrones opening credits, especially because if you watch carefully, the buildings and locations change depending on the locations seen in the episode. I also loved the attention to detail that when the Boltons took Winterfell, rather than the Direwolf, the castle had the Bolton sigel of the Flayed Man over it. Once the Starks retook Winterfell, that was gone.

Bravos is one of my personal favourites, the one with the coin. As is the tree in Winterfell.

Jessica Jones (beautiful and the music rocks) Vikings (I love this opening so much, it's part of this great show and like GoT, it change slightly each season) Person of Interest (it suits the story and evolve each season)

Definitely need the the Highlander tv series on the list.
I wanted to include Firefly too, but I can't find an unaltered version on youtube. And it's quite old, but the original Get Smart series is definitely a classic
And though It's animated, can Monty Python be left out?

I agree with GoT, its an instant classic! But following Hari Seldon 's lead, I have to bring back another couple of classics. My very first innocent crush And then Laura Partridge came along... and, this one I remember, vividly. It used to come on at 10 pm CST, sunday nights. My parents let me stay up 5 minutes after ten, just to watch this every week! EDIT: to clarify, I used to like watching the tape self-destruct, just BEFORE the opening sequence. And it might have been 9 pm. It was strict bedtime, whichever it was. And the theme song is STILL one of the most recognizable, iconic themes ever written!

Got to go with Hari Seldon on Get Smart..... Honorable Mention: Although not necessarily a favorite........ if you lived through it, you'll never forget it:

IIRC, I think Tina Louise, and her contract, had something to do with that. She was under the impression she was "The Star" of the show and insisted she was last one mentioned on the intro. After S1 everything was ironed out and Prof and Maryanne were added. Tina was never happy on the show and became ultimate diva beotch because she felt she was deceived. The deception actually came from her agent as he wanted her on the show but was afraid to tell her she wasn't the star.

On the IMDb (yes, I named it) trivia it says Bob Denver made the demand for the Professor and Mary Ann to be included by name. Being the title character, I expect he didn't meet too much resistance.

Oh dear you just brought back a precious memory! Many years ago, myself and my then/future/ex-wife, went on a long boat ride with a couple of sisters/friends, and their dad, in his boat. Close friends, one of the sisters was maid of honor in our wedding. All was good, til we stopped about 8 miles up the lake. Apparently, if you leave the plug out of the boat, all is good until you park it.
Yes, the damn thing nearly sunk while we stopped and swam. On the way back, we were all gleefully singing the theme to Gilligan's Island. The father was NOT happy about that! LOL LOL, omg I thought he was going to bust a blood vessel!

Haven't seen the show yet, but the intro looks great. Kind of gives me a similar vibe as the True Detective intros did, although it's still very different.

The intro for the original The Prisoner is one of my favorites.
