Because this isn't Facebook and you guys wouldn't have likely known, today is my birthday! Am not doing anything too special, except going to eat at TGI Fridays with my parents and BFF/roommate. I guess you're 28 1/2 today. Happy half-birthday. (I was looking for a general 'fun stuff' thread to post this and stumbled on your half-birthday first. Sorry!)

Thanks for thinking of me. I'm not even thinking about my 29th birthday. I graduated with a Bachelor's in English in May so I'm focusing on *that* milestone. Lately, I've just been working two jobs and and hoping I get the job with the Federal government that I applied for. Right now I'm going through a CSI: Miami obsession... |

Thanks for thinking of me. I'm not even thinking about my 29th birthday. I graduated with a Bachelor's in English in May so I'm focusing on *that* milestone. I hope that you had a happy half-birthday. As you have a very notable birth date, we can presume that this is also a very notable half-birth date. This was a good catch by Hari Seldon as I did not even realize that this was a half birthday. I spent the past week not being picked to be on the jury of a murder trial, so I suppose I can use that as an excuse for not noticing. I checked the View today's birthday links for today. It did not mention any half-birthdays, but it mentioned that today is maypole27's birthday, making today just about the only time that I saw an odd number of names having a birthday. Usually it is zero, and sometimes it is two. Is there such a thing as a "golden" half-birthday? I have to confess that I first heard about the concept of a golden birthday 23 years after mine, to the day. |

It is weird that, while logged in, any member can look at other members' pages and see when their birthdays are. Yet, because of this thread, yours is the only one that we make a fuss over. I guess that many of us have had more birthdays than we care to admit.

I guess that many of us have had more birthdays than we care to admit. Thank you! I'm sorry to get back to you so late but my birthday came at a hectic time. I've been in the process of moving from my Grandma's house back to my Mom's house, and have been working two jobs while we're down a maintenance person at my main job, so I've been working oddly spaced hours, while fighting the depression I always get around my birthday, while being stressed that none of my furniture has made it over to my Mom's house yet.
I feel bad that I'm not around here as much anymore but my ADHD/autism combo always has something else on the mind and I forget and also I've gone through many special interests that wouldn't have a place here. "Air Disasters" anyone?
For my birthday I didn't do much, but I went to Outback Steakhouse with my Mom and brother and snacked on ice cream cake for a week.
Even though I am not here much, just know I still think of you guys often!

Another year, another announcement on View today's birthdays that you have another birthday today. If I am doing my math correctly, this definitely is a milestone birthday as you are now entering your 30s. This means not only wishing you a great day and a great year but a great decade as well.

Thank you for thinking of me after so much time has gone by since I have been around here! And yes, today I turned 30! It's honestly good for me to know that I still have friends here, even if I forget that sometimes. I will have to make it a point to "stop by" more often. I gave myself a three day weekend for a present and while I didn't get to meet up with my non-online friends (ie my friends in the 'real world') I did meet up with somebody from a FB group I'm in who was more than happy to fill in that void. BTW; if anyone is interested, my special interest? The Rockford Files! So much of Jim Rockford is the kind of good character/criminal character that really speaks to me. And oddly, I see similarities between he and Coulson every now and then, too. |

Another year has come by, and the View today's birthday section once again shows that you have a birthday. I hope that it goes well.
This year, I will post a live version of the song that I posted last year mostly because there is something about the first couple of lines that seems so appropriate.
